From April 11 to 13, 2025, the "8th Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Youth Conference" was successfully held in Beijing. The event was organized by the MTS Material Testing Collaboration Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and hosted by the National Center for Materials Service Safety (referred to as NCMS) at the University of Science and Technology Beijing.

The conference themes included:

1. Deformation damage, fatigue, and fracture of materials

2. Service behavior and evaluation of materials and structures

3. Mechanical property testing methods and advanced testing techniques/equipment

4. AI-assisted material performance testing and evaluation
